Term of Reference (TOR) Center For Climate Change

Climate change is a long-term change in the average weather patterns that have come to define Earth’s local, regional and global climates. Changes observed in Earth’s climate since the mid-20th century are driven by human activities. Human activities, such as urbanization and land-use change, have been linked to climate change, which in turn can impact the emergence of zoonotic diseases, biodiversity and ecology (Hassel et al., 2016).

Climate change is one of the greatest threats to future human prosperity and the natural world. It's a scientific, cultural, and technical issue that now needs to be addressed by all communities. In order to meet this issue, it is necessary, among other things, that it be properly understood and that this understanding be shared as broadly as possible, particularly with those who are making significant decisions that will have an impact on our future.
